***I believe the universe to be infinite, in all directions and dimentions. This gives an almost infinite amount of possible existances. Thus, according to my belief, if one was ever to find a being which seemed to be supreame, it would only be illusion, for something else out there would have traits which seemed more supreame, and this would vary from individual all the way to alien perspectives about what supreame means. To say that some intelligent entity created or controls the infinitely complex movements of space, time ,and matter, would be to say that the supreame being has a purpose for each and every structure within it. I do however believe in the very real and human experiance of spirituality, and it is comprised of the complex emotions and abstract thoughts we are blessed/cursed with. To me, religion seems to want to mold eery persons unique spiritual personality into something ununique, restricted and safe... Although it seems like it brings so much good by viewing those who follow it closely, it does much harm by creating conflict with any who differ. A church close to my rural home diplayed the quote "The fool says there is no God" for weeks, and when it was finally changed it read the famous "Love thy Nieghbor". I guess that means only those nieghbors who would'nt take offense to being called a fool by those who pretend to live by thier religion, setting the examlple foe us fools?
