I would say that the truly rational person would accept and enjoy emotions as well. It is a part of our being, however subjective it may be. Someone who discards emotions and says they're not valid is deluding themselves, however someone who holds onto them so tightly they apply human emotions to external reality (the universe is a loving place, when love is a purely human concept) is deluding themselves equally.
