You have piqued my interest here. I think I would like to try writing the program for ET's machine. Would you be willing to correspond on the issue? If so, drop me a note at

I do not think the problem is as easy as it might appear to some but I do think I may have an attack which might prove eventually workable. There are, however, a number of subtle problems. I will try it on my own anyway eventually but I think you are a very rational man and I suspect that bouncing ideas off you could be very productive.

If it can be done, I think it would make one hell of a search engine and I have always been very disappointed with the inadequacy of search engines in general.

Thanks -- Dick
