If one's light and darkness (knowledge of good and evil) are both good or made to be good by knowledge, by reason and by faith or by any of the above three then one is that much closer to knowing the one and only "GOD" Allah who makes all things from naught and with out whom there is naught else imaginable or unimaginable or real or unreal.

So the key is to recognize and to struggle against shun the knowledge of evil and the temptations that emanate there from and to maintain this status until the appointed time to return to the former state of error free life in paradise with our maker as our overseer and our friend and our guide and the only one who can make us perfect as in our former state before sin or error. One way to recognize these errors is to read up on morality and immorality and categorize the results of choosing one over the other and see which one will give lasting pleasure which is found in the safety of knowing right from wrong and choosing the right even if it the consequences may get one in trouble in the area of ones work or personal life. One will soon see how wicked this world has become and thank Allah for giving him or her this wisdom in order to save them from making error after error until the errors become irreversible. I.e. The light and the dark are both consumed by error readings and thus fall in to a loop of repeated errors.

Error can only be corrected by the maker who has placed a tool at our disposal in our brains called reason and logic once the light and dark are deposited in the control of this biological tool the rest is done automatically. The only problem is in trusting the tool and knowing that it is working right. In order to know this one only needs to compare notes with the department of morality and immorality which is downloaded by our parents, schools, and the books we read and by the company we keep.
