- Do you know what time it is, Alex?
- I can't answer your question if you don't define what you mean by time
- Well, you're wearing a wristwatch so I assumed you already knew what time means
- I do know what time means but I have no way to know if it means the same thing to you until you tell me
- I have no idea what time means, but I need to know what time it is now
- How can you know what time it is now if you don't know what time means to start with?
- Man, what is the matter with you?

(loses his self-control and grabs Alex's right arm to look at his watch)

- Hey, your watch has no hands!!
- Of course not, according to modern physics time is not a measurable entity

Someone shouts from a distance:

- Alex, we'd better run or we'll miss the bus

And off Alex runs...
