Species??

To All,

Not to butt into this conversation but, as far as I am aware, species are defined by the fact that they cannot interbreed. Add to this the fact that some human pairs are infertile with one another while they remain fertile with others.

There are several rare blood types beyond the standard "O", "B", "A" and "AB". It is my understanding that blood type "N" has some major infertility problems with some of the other blood types.

Could that not be interpreted as a break off of another species? Is this not a specific example of the intermediate situation monotonous insists doesn't exist?
