: :I am a scientist and I believe in it. So do all my scientist friends. Do you have any scientist friends?

::::::::::: I'm with you on this.

The "Creationists" and "Design Theorists" really have nothing in the way of evidence that "proves" or even substiantiates their hypotheses.

They mistakenly believe that disproving evolution, biology, palentology, geology and astronomy some serves a proof for creation or intelligent design.

Actually, they have yet to dis-prove ANY of the above but that really is not the point is it.

Even if it were possible to disprove any or all of the theories held by the sciences above, it STILL does not prove that their hypothesis is true.

Their hypothesis is based on faith, which in and of itself is OK, but it does not, again, in and of itself, constitute a foundation for theory.

Theory must be devised thru trial and error, direct observation, repeatable results, and predictability. All of which the above sciences have engaged in to arrive at present theoretical positions, and none of which the aforementioned creation/design schools practice with anything resembling dicipline.

We get mumbo-jumbo official sounding pseudo-technical talk from alleged experts who propound such folly as vapor canopies, moon dust, magnetic field decay, catastrophic floods and even such straw grasping hypotheses as light speed degeneration.

Many of these proponents either hold degrees in fields not eve relavant to the topic, (such as Theology PH.D.'s claiming expertise in microbiology, having never studied the topic at all except at forums on the internet,) and in some cases, even outright fabrications and lies for credentials such as the now infamous Kent hovind form Colorado (recently of Florida), who starts his own university in his living room and awards himself a Doctorate, which he now advertises as making him an authority in paleontology.

Saddest of all of course are the gullible fools who come onto forum sites like this spouting the usual rhetoric and predictable tripe they have learned from these dolts as if it were of substance and credibility. Then they get angry at you for questioning them!

It would be laughable if it weren't for the fact that most of these diciples of dubious dumb-ism are actually missing out on a genuine education in what's going on in the world.

As if science were trying to conspire to dis-prove that which is unknowable.

As if the universe was created as some illusion to suit whatever you want to believe it is.

As if a penchant for fantasy causes it to be so.

As if death is escapable by choosing the correct mythology.

As if reality actually threatens the existence of God.
