You see in it whatever you want to see. Any knowledge you derive from it is only knowledge you already had. Phrases from the Bible have supported the Inquisitors, Crusaders, Branch Dividians, and other extremists throughout history. As a source of knowledge it is extremely unstable. I view the Bible more as a mirror than a window. |
