So if this Dark Energy is causing the universe to expand faster, then indeed I would think that our universal time is slowing down. What about in billions of years from now when Dark Energy increases the velocity to the speed of light? Would this cause a reversal of time forcing the universe back into itself? It would be strange because then our laws would be backwards, grown men turning into babies, entropy decreasing, water raining up, etc. Time would then be thought of one big loophole, reproducing the same events throughout eternity.
