-GOD, a belief held by millions of humans was not
-created to explain the laws of quantum mechanics,
-explain how fire is initiated, nor suggest how
-the human race began.
-The very essence of religion merely provides any
-given culture the ability to draw upon common
-sense, thousands of years of experience, and
-deeper truths that many deny without it, to
-explain, counteract, and live through every-day
-life. Without religion underlining the morals
-and boundries consisting a civilized race, much
-more duress would be endured. Anyone can make the
-argument of the Crusades ( religion hurts ), or
-the argument of the 13th century corrupt popes
-(Religion is hypocritical ), but the truth
-beyond those very superficial instances is :
-Religion has done FAR MORE GOOD than EVIL.
-That is what its THERE FOR, my good man.
1) Look up Pope Leo
2) Look up Roman Civilization
3) Look up Spread of Chrisitianity
4) Look up Monastic Influence
5) Look up Catholic Revolution ( made people stand up for what they thought was right, so even the horrible times of the church actually worked to improve the independant urges the populous had dwelling within them.)

Humanity was definetly far better off with a
belief of religion ( higher entity/commandments etc ) than if it had nothing to believe in , but science. And don't make me get into the nitty gritty of history because I have documented material floating around in front of me waiting to strike.
