Paul in the above quote says that the uncorruptable image of god was changed into the corruptable image of man. This contradicts the original statement that man was made in god's image.

And it has a slant that says that man can never progress to the point of being perfect like god.

But a more interesting interpetation is that Paul is saying that god became nature in terms of the living things of nature. So god is life, not some separate entity. I think that's called pantheism. It suits me.

Thank you for expounding on the scientific foretellings of the Koran. I new I had given the Koran short shift in my previous post. No wonder Islam kept science alive during the Dark Ages of christianity.
