You must be using a different definition of information from the conventional one, perhaps one associated with the complexity of DNA.

But using the conventional definition, the sheer growth of a leaf on a tree converts energy from the sun into the structure of the leaf which is new information. So livng, growing biological mechanisms are always producing information as they grow and losing information as they die.

If you are using a different definition of information, then you are not using conventional science.
