I didn't really expect you to understand it, because I don't understand it myself, not well enough anyway. I just think there's something paradoxical about the concept of time but I can't quite explain what it is. Sometimes I get a weird feeling when I realize that the present moment, no matter how real it feels, will soon cease to be real (I often get that feeling when I'm on vacation). For some reason it seems natural to me that we should be able to move in time as freely as we move in space. I don't know where that idea comes from but it seems to make perfect sense to me, despite the fact that experience contradicts it.
