Yes, I Am Defining My Model As Symmetric

Making some progress. Can you explain to me how a symmetric model can treat unsymmetric data. From my reading of your development, you start from a representation of the data, and then say that it is is symmetric. Where is the idea of a model separate from the data introduced? I am unable to distinguish in your development any difference between the model and the data.
