Mario,

Before you claim there is no basis for a belief in God, would you care to explain what the word 'God' means to you exactly?

If you can't define the meaning of a word, you can't discuss the truth of the concept. I'm not arguing that God exists precisely because no one can define he/she/it, only that when you talk about something you don't know what it is you may be guilty of the same sin you are accusing others.

I do suspect, however, that you have a clear definition of what the word God means and would be glad to learn from you.
