Who Needs An Ism?

I say I'm an atheist, just for the sake of argument, though I don't totally fit that category, but in most ways I do. But I don't go into arguments thinking "I am an Atheist, therefore I must argue point X." I think "I believe point X is true, therefore I am an Atheist." Ya dig? Go into each argument with no notions about how you should be reacting according to your ism. React to a point on its own merits. Very few people fit into an ism 100%, they just exist for the sake of convenience. If you end up arguing for both sides occasionally, who cares? As long as you're speaking your mind.
