christ did not even know his living future, yes, he had a prophesy to work with, but he did not know he would die exactly as he did, he just accepted it, kinda. He said, father, why hath thou forsaken me? as if he had other plan for dying, or at least a little bit more of life, in which to develop himself as a living example.
