To perform experiment, to record results, to interpret them, etc.

And sin^2+cos^2 is 1 without humans, or anyone else. Pithogor theorem a^2+b^2 = c^2 was valid before Pithagor, and is valid after he is gone. It was valid before humans and will continue to be valid after. Hydrogen was a solution of Shredinger equation before humans (just look at Andromeda galaxy which is made of mainly hydrogen - its spectra emitted well before first humans gradually evolved - and the spectra are exactly the same as Earth - found hydrogen.

That is why science unlike religion and philosophies is so reliable and useful - it is based on math which is independent of aliens or humans, or trees, or etc and is verified in experiment (remember - criteria of truth is experiment) over and over without requiring humans to set it up, or to monitor the experiment, or to record data.

Creationism has NO experimental facts, NO mathematics, no single equation to explain anything - there is NO even rational idea to START building anything - thus it is not even a hypothesis yet. There is nothing yet to discuss or argue about.
