General relativity can be derived without Quantum Mechanics, is analogous to your statement that the big bang can happen without god. Catch my drift.

I presume that you think particles exist.
I think that only fields exist
and that particles are a mathematical approximation.

I say that your belief that particles exist, if so, is just that. A belief. Really a convenient assumption in Newtonian Mechanics. So your belief has great convenience. But it may not be true. And I do not believe that it is supported by quantum mechanics. In short, everything you say about god, I can say about particles, except that I can offer so-called scientific proof that particles do not exist. But of course it is all interpretation. In the end no one knows anything for sure. It all a matter of convenience.
