It seems to me that the current concepts of spacetime, quantum foam, etc. are very like the old concept of ether. Both are driven by the same "realist", "mechanistic" model of the universe which is being held as absolute truth by the scientific community; Alex being a prime example bless his soul.

Sorry, but I do have my opinions and, unless you can give me good reason to change them I will probably continue to act as if they are valid. At least I do present them as opinions, not facts.
