I only found out a few months ago that what I was interested in was called metaphysics! I had always thought my interests were theoretical physics. None the less, I am quite ignorant of some of the terms used by you.

Would you please clarify exactly what you mean by

"a Platonist position with regard to mathematics"

By the way, it was the addition of the word "Laws" which I did not understand. I thought self-contradictory was a well understood fundamental concept: i.e., a word who's meaning was a priory understood. (See my discourse on definition in the post near the top of the page - "Define thought").
