On Average Atheists Are Smarter Than Theists

Not saying anything about the more important question, "Given the present state of human development, is general atheism good for society?", but I don't think your prison statistic means what you think.

I think the statistic better supports the idea that most criminals are less capable than normal people. If they were as capable they'd probably find another way. Most criminals are stupider than the rest.

Theists are less intelligent on average than atheists. Of course, this doesn't mean that there aren't smart theists, smarter than most atheists. I'm talking averages only.
