What Do Buddhist's Believe About Creation, Afterlife?

Recognizing that you're not a Buddhist, so your knowledge of its beliefs might be rather limited, do you know what Buddhists, or better yet, Gautama (or whoever the originator of the Buddhism was) believe(d) about

The creation of the Earth/universe.

The source of moral law.

Life after death.

It surprises me that the two consistent beliefs of almost all modern religions (God or gods and life after death) are not both held by all religions. Jews evidently believe in God, but not an afterlife. Buddhists believe in an afterlife (reencarnation?), but evidently not God.
