Why Then Your DNA Is 98.5% Chimp's DNA?

During human genome decoding it was found that our DNA is almost exact copy of DNA of chimpanzee (98.5%) and that is why some biologists consider homo sapience just as a third specie of chimpanzee after african and asian ones. So by what coincidence it can happen that God made us exactly apes (with minor difference we may attribute to various inherent errors)? Why in the world we are so alike? Body shape, anatomy, blood compsition, biochemistry, even emotions are almost identical. Why?
