Adult At 18, 21 Or 13?

In the U.S. I think you're legally an adult at 18, which means you can vote and do other things, but that doesn't necessarily mean you can buy cigarettes, alcohol or enter over-21 clubs. I guess you become a full social adult when you're 21 and are allowed to do all the wicked things you were taught to avoid as children. Biologically, I guess you become an adult sometime after you become potentially reproductive at around 13. Is this right? |
