Density=critical Was Pre-requizite For Big Bang And Inflatuion.

As Universe expanded, density less than critical would quickly become much less, more than critical - much more (because even minor deviations amplify during expansion). So, it was a pre-requisite for any new theory (BB or inflation) to keep omega=1 (=flat space-time of expanding Universe). |
