| Religious Cults And Comets

There has been some flak from certain religious cults concerning comet Lee (sorry, I'm not the discoverer, some guy in Australia is) which reaches perihelion on July 11. It will be most visible however in September. You can read about it at: http://encke.jpl.nasa.gov/ The religious myths are once again proven wrong on this one and the facts are presented with charts to show just how close it will come, which is NOT close at all. |
