No, I do not mean how quickly can devices built using scientific research wipe out Earth population. After all, knife or laser can be USED both for good and evel (as anything else).

I meant, how high are standards of ethic in science compared to other human activities like religion, commerse, politics, arts, humanities, etc - how much fraud, hoaxes, deceptions (for money, fame, political reasons, high posts, etc.) were made (and are being made)in scientific publications (in reputable journals), or are given Nobel prizes for (or other major scientific awards)?

More than in other activities, or same, or less?

Is it easier to commit fraud in science than anywhere else or harder?
