Alexander:

In order to make a succinct response, one must ignore the Information Physicists who say that humanitarian "objects and subjects" are indeed not of purely human origin. Through measurements of distinction, the simplest being 1 or 0, we can create objects and subjects -- we can arrange numbers into songs, Haiku and even modern civilizations. And using the power of mathematics, we can also find unlikely structures that already exist in the natural world; only then does the mind take on an executive role in the sensibilities it cultivates to appreciate those structures. After all, we only know about mathematics through what we perceive through our senses.
