In Quest For "absolute Truth"

Actually Earth does not circle Sun as we all now know. Gravitational pull of Milky way is so strong, that it makes Earth to fall on Milky way with much higher velocity (about 250 km/sec) than fall on Sun (30 km/sec), so in galactic goordinates Earth moves around Sun in highly stretched and very asymmetric spiral.

So, what here is more "true": Earth orbiting Sun in almost circular orbit, or Earth moving in highly spiral way?

Somehow some people think that there IS so called "absolute truth" out there. Is there?

And if not, what is then this idea about seeking this ghost (or insisting that it exists but had not been discovered yet) all about?
