Faith and prayer can change anything???

Step out in front of a speeding bus and pray that it doesn't hit you. I'll bet it does.

Funny, whenever someone is close to death (like Mother Teresa), thousands of prayers are offered to help the person live, but often they don't. If we all have this power to change things and the thought is genuine (like to survive an illness), why do people still die? Honestly, would it be any different if people had not said the prayers?

(oh, and personally, I don't believe you when you say you aren't afraid of death. I'm sure even the pope is afraid of death)
