of scientists on this forum if, say, time spent debating whether or not god exists is time NOT spent furthering scientific study.

would religion, then, be blamed for 'getting in the way of scientific progress', even in the freedom of the US? are some people struggling with the fact that they actually HAVE an interest in god that is stronger than their passion (at times) for scientific theories and studies?

just curious where y'all stand.
