There's a lot of emphasis among some religious people how prophetic power demonstrates the existence of God. Such ability would be more impressive than the ability of science to predict the results of experiments. If prophets really exist or existed, then science has some serious problems to explain. However, if prophecies are no more than reasonable predictions, lucky guesses, and favorable rewritings of history then science is not threatened.

Events in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, for example, are supposed to fulfill many Old Testament prophecies.

Farrell Till in his article about failed prophecies argues that Biblical prophecies were not fulfilled as "bibliolaters" (his term for believers in an inerrant Bible) claim.

Does anyone have good evidence discrediting Till's article?
