to a degree, just like we can't tell how far what good we do goes. it's surprising. neither is without consequence, and it is not for us to decide if the consequence 'wasn't harmful' if it involves someone else.

to clarify re: the 'lie' about my stepson, it was more like when asked if i had anything more to present why his mom was unfit, if i were to have told the court the part about how she had him steal a jacket for her, which we saw, who knows what would have come if i pointed it out?
