Religions Against Homosexuality

You made some important points in your message. However, the statement "homosexuals are no longer considered evil" is premature. Some religions and religious people still consider them evil. "God hates Fags", for example. When the distinction is clearly made between homosexual sexual preference (genetic) and gay sexual activity (choice) this tends to make homosexuality less evil among religious homophobes, although they will often still regard gay sex as evil.

The gradual change in religious attitudes about slavery, women's rights, homosexuality, abortion, etc. is an indication in my mind that religious dogma is a creation of man, not of God.
