Barry: God is a three letter word. God will do nothing for you because he simply does not exist. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, a theory has substance when it has predictive powers and it works. You can pray all you like and cancer will still strike you down. Religion is for children. Greg: God is not Theory, Barry. Mr. Simpson may not be correct about Evolution, but neither are you correct about the proof of theory. In Theory, all it takes is one instance where the theory fails to maintain its integrity and it is considered in need of improvement. Are you sure that there has never been an instance where someone prayed and was subsequently healed without the benefit of modern medicine? Only children make statements which promote absolutes, not the scientifically minded, unless they have experimental evidence to back it up. What experimental proposal do you suggest could impose itself upon God? :o)
