i don't know that it's just that one way, 'a mountain out of a molehill'; could be micro from macro, as well. 'statistics' can sometimes be like 'religion' - yeah, these statements are here based on a certain population demographic, but what do they mean to me? (the macro to micro there). I don't care to base my big life decisions on 'chances' or even 'statistics'. as it is, if i hadn't noticed a difference in my pre-belief life and my post-belief life, i would've resumed the former in a heartbeat cuz it would have been a lot easier, even if it wasn't really living life to the more full extent.
