New Religions Based On Science

I agree that new religions will appear based on scientific ideas, but I expect the result will be pseudoscience, not science. They will use some of the terms of science like `fields', `electricity', `magnetism', `quantum', etc., but their meanings will be significantly different from the scientific ones and the religious scholars will seldom, if ever, do religion research based on scientific methods, but, instead by using hallucinations, dreams, feelings, made-up ideas, etc., induced sometimes by psychological techniques and drugs.

I wonder whether an ethical philosophy based on atheism and humanism can effectively replace theistic religion and dominate in the future.
