Ok, how does it prove Einstein was right? Easily: Einstein said: clocks at different distances R1 and R2 from the mass M WILL differ by (2GM/c^2)(1/R1-1/R2), and they do! (By the way, thus at the bottom clock runs SLOWER than at the top of a tower.) Atomic clocks in Washington DC runs slower than in Denver, Colorado all the time and by exactly this amount. Satellite GPS time runs faster than ground ones, thus your tiny GPS receiver has to correct it all the time - otherwise you would be lost in a matter of few days.
