Well, if you dead, you are dead (not alive by definition, right?) - your brain is not functioning any longer. At 100 F chemical changes in your brain become irreversable in about 15-20 minutes after oxygen supply stops (the function of cortex neurons and most of memory changes even earlier - in 8-12 min), so unless science can prevent them (by analysing and experimenting by the way), you dead.

In the brains of those whe knew you, there are still axons which directs electric currents along the cells which output signals can be called "memories of you". This is just because these brains are not dead yet.

Do you have any problem with this?
