No, Just A Diamond

i actually was being literal there, because rich and i earlier conversed on finding things in the ground, and there is so much to behold period, who can bore enough holes. so if i bore a hole and find a diamond and he bores and finds an amethyst, we both find what we find, and the other is not complete in their knowledge based only on their own findings.

I agree with you, though, it is easier to jump and say one has found a diamond when it might just be a simple crystal. i don't think it really dwindles the delight of discovery after having searched, however, unless one won't settle for anything but a diamond. of course, i find diamonds rather boring, and other crystals or 'imperfect structures' having much more character (and, therefore, interest to me - this has not persuaded me that diamonds are of no value, however! :)
