Time is a dimension, just as length, width and breadth are. By approaching the speed of light, our frame of reference becomes very noticeably different from other more 'mundane' frames of reference. This means that time is not linear, and time is not absolute. Our own perception of time does not agree (although it is most often too small to tell) with other peoples' perception of time, because we all move at different velocities through space. |
