I think one must experiance and give out certain things which are not all that great in order to find what is better for themselves. We learn by experiance, one cannot know one without the other.
As far as I am aware, there has never been anything absolutely 100% pure, everything is part of something else in the universe, for something to be that pure, it would have to not exist.
I guess that could be stated another way, in that the universe is pure because it encompasses all.
