You do not need "quantum consciouseness" to explain how brain works.

Do not forget, that only activity of tiny fraction of human barain cells (upper part of cortex) is what we call consciouseness, and the rest of the brain (more than 99% cells!) process information without any control from these cells (so we call it unconsciouseness). So subconscious processing of information (by the way, it is the only way all other animals do) is extremely common. No wonder most of solutions come from subconsciousness.

Also, when our upper cortex sleeps, the rest of the brain does not (it has to be alert not to be eaten), that is why many solutions come at sleep.
