The "evil" one was once an Angel of Light, therefore, he could easily be confused with an Angel. This is why the whole world is confused, for it's said on the bible by Christ, then when you hear rumors that Jesus appeared, don't believe for it's the "evil" one confusing the minds of people. You see most people have to "see" to believe, for it's written, "blessed is the one, who doesn't see, but believes".
