one can't force a person of a particular religious persuasion to offer themselves as a candidate for a position. do you suppose any candidates who did not receive enough votes to gain the office WERE of those 'missing' religions? or were there none who came forward and asked for the vote at all? and if none DID come forward, why do you suppose THAT is? (i don't have any speculations, was just wondering your thoughts).
