: : : Hey Sergio, I think she was being sarcastic. Try reading that again.... : : : I agree with you 100% susan. We cannot be completely sure of God's existance (or non-existance) without evidence. But it also is important to remember the many, many times we have thought a phenomenon was due to God but was later disproven. It leaves me skeptical.

: : : But the question remains "can we go on believing God exists while we really don't have the evidence?" Sure, the theory can remain while we search for the answers, but is it "right" to worship or pray like the theory of God is correct and understood? Personally, I would rather be a little more cautious than to believe such a large claim with very little evidence.

: : : In the mean time, I have to walk to class and listen to "a follower of Christ" shout his "beliefs" at other students on campus (beliefs like "Ghandi was a pervert"). It seems to me that a lot of religious people have a lot more "answers" about life than questions...

: : I'll better believe in believe in God,than to be empty, of Faith. : : I have the prove that is a God up there shame : : I can't pass it, because you need to experience that by yourselfe : : People who want to believe, believe, people that don't want to see don't : : Most of Great Mens in History where believers. : : And if you want a laboratory test to prove it, : : there is not going to happen in at least a Million : : years at the way we are acting and doing everything, the only thing : : you need to do is what we are doing of this World. : : We should try to pass more faith.#1 Priority : : Take young people out of Drugs, something that laboratories and : : Science are not doing. : : Like is God and Evil : : Is good Science, constructive : : Bad Science, destruction of the Humankind. : Materlialism last only a life time : Faith, eternity : What can happen, I'm wrong I will not know, : I'm right I'll be happy because I believe in it : If is nothing to it,what waste of Space and suffering. : But anyway I'm happy as possible with hope and : my faith.I don't hate people for any human, is : a brother and a monky or other animal a cousin. : Sergio Sanchez

As a Christian with a strong background in Astronomy, I struggled for years trying to reconcile my faith with my understanding of the heavens. I always believed that my God and his creation is big enough to withstand the scruity of science. More recently, I read a book entitled "The Fingerprint of God" by a Hugh Ross. He has a Ph.D in Astrophysics (and a Christian believer) from the University of Toronto. The did a fine job in answering many of my questions (i.e. age of the universe, interstellar distances, "Big Bang" vs. "Steady State", etc.). Not all in the Judeo-Christian community will agree with him. But this book did alot in affirming my faith in God and science.
