It obviously happened. But it is wrong for our age to continue in the survival of the fittest mode. Hitler justified his aggresion on the basis of the theory of evolution, for example. In the simple terms used on this forum, evolution is the work of the devil. So to be anti-evolution is to be against the devil. The ten commandments are against evolution. In evolution it's OK to kill your neighbor and covet his possesions and so on. That is how evolution is supposed to work. But it is time to break out of that mode. So it's rational to be against evolution, but it's just silly to claim that it never happened. That's the same as saying the devil, or evil impulses do not exist. Somehow it seems very contradictory to claim that the devil exists but evolution did not happen. The wayout of the contradiction is the dogma of original sin, which limits the work of the devil to humans.
