You don't understand MR Yanniru. Nicheren Daishonin made clear on the Lotus sutra . He studied all Buddhist sutras in japan and come into Lotus sutra as the highest shakyamunis Buddhas teachings. And he established his Buddhism based on the truth he found in the Lotus sutra. His teachings are condesation of the 80,000 buddha's teachings and established a practice of chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo as direct path to enlightenment. Don't be confused on the title. What we concerned is in the side of the teachings Nicheren. And therefore, because he is japanese sage and teacher, of course, what he is reading is the japanese language of the Lotus sutra named Myoho Renge Kyo...just simple as that. |
