answer my post below why plants are capable of knowing things and women aren't allowed.

as for the chanting of something not understood, in the New Testament where it advises on speaking 'in tongues' (in language not generally understood), it says not to do so in an assembly in which there is no interpreter. because while such speech is good, it does not build up the listeners, which is also important. further, a believer is discouraged from uttering 'repetitious phrases' lest they become meaningless, no matter what wonderful words they may be. as analogy, if i were to say to you 'you're nice, you're nice, you're nice, you're nice, you're nice' you would probably go from thinking i was actually complimenting you/trying to build you up to thinking perhaps i merely spoke because i wanted to hear myself talk or i spoke because it was good in my eyes to do so and that it held no true meaning to anyone present. make sense?
